Sunny days, established in the region, favor the rapid collection of crops.

As of October 11, Lipetsk farmers received 113 thousand tons of corn for grain. it is removed in 15 districts. Threshed 22.4 thousand hectares, the average yield is close to last year and amounted to 65.2 q/ha. The best in terms of productivity are the farmers of the Izmalkovsky district. They harvest 94.3 c/ha there. In total, about 70 thousand hectares are to be harvested this year.

Farmers from 17 districts are harvesting SUGAR beets. As of October 11, it was harvested from 54.5 thousand hectares, 1 million 856 thousand tons were received. Beet yield was 340.9 kg/ha. Over 400 centners/ha are harvested in Stanovlyansky (414.8 centners/ha), Dobrovsky (412.4 centners/ha) and Dobrinsky (409.2 centners/ha) districts.

Sunflower is being harvested in 18 districts. More than 218 thousand hectares have been allocated for this crop this year. At the moment, 146 thousand hectares have been threshed, 328.5 thousand tons have been harvested. The average yield is 22.5 q/ha. Top 3 districts in terms of sunflower yield: Izmalkovsky (33.4 c/ha), Stanovlyansky (26.3 c/ha), Lebedyansky (26.1 c/ha).

Soybeans are being harvested in 15 districts, and work has been completed in three more districts. As of October 11, 118.7 thousand tons were received from 74.8 thousand hectares. The average yield is 15.9 q/ha. Agrarians of Dobrovsky (23.7 c/ha), Stanovlyansky (19.8 c/ha) and Chaplyginsky (19.2 c/ha) districts demonstrate good soybean yields. Recall that the area under soybeans this year increased by 20% and amounted to more than 89 thousand hectares.

The potato harvest is in full swing. In 3 out of 12 districts where potatoes are currently being dug, work has been completed. In total, more than 3.9 thousand hectares (72%) were harvested. The gross harvest amounted to about 123 thousand tons.
Sowing of winter crops in some areas has already been completed. As of October 11, 347 thousand hectares (96%) were sown. In total, about 370 thousand hectares are allocated for winter crops.

“Our farmers, realizing the importance of the tasks assigned to them, are making every effort to get a decent harvest at the end of the year,” says Oleg Dolgikh, HEAD of the agriculture department.
