In the Penza region, the gross grain harvest is 1.94 million tons

In agricultural enterprises of the Penza region, the gross grain harvest amounted to 1.94 million tons, the average yield in farms as of the reporting date was 26.3 c/ha.

The region received 878.6 thousand tons of winter wheat with an average yield of 27 centners per hectare, 618 thousand tons of spring wheat with an average yield of 26 centners per hectare, the gross harvest of barley exceeded 340 thousand tons with an average yield of 29 centners per hectare.

Industrial crops in the Penza region have been harvested from an area of ​​21.1 thousand hectares. In the region, agricultural producers of the Maloserdobinsk district have started harvesting sunflower. Gross harvest at the reporting date - 225 tons.

Also in the districts of the region the sowing of winter crops continues. Agricultural crops were sown on an area of ​​18.7 thousand hectares.
