During a state veterinary inspection, 13,900 head (12,000 hens and 1,900 cockerels) of day-old breeding chicks arrived from France at a poultry farm in the Atyashevsky District for laying hens were examined and processed. The young animals were found to be healthy following a clinical examination, and all veterinary documentation was completed in accordance with requirements. The importer complied with all animal import requirements, and the vehicles were cleaned and disinfected in a special area. As part of the inspection, the Veterinary Service of the Republic of Mordovia organized quarantine measures in accordance with the veterinary and sanitary requirements.
