The Krasnoyarsk Territory will host a regional "Field Day"

The regional agricultural exhibition "Field Day" will be held in the village of Yemelyanovo on August 13. The event will take place at the Mustang Hippodrome and will include competitions of rural equestrians, an exhibition of agricultural machinery and equipment, a display of farm animals and poultry, a presentation of products from gardeners and artisans.
“In this format, the Field Day will be held in our region for the eighth time. If we talk about one of the key events of the exhibition - the competition of rural equestrians - then it has a rich 22-year history, which we intend to continue. This spectacular event, which attracts professionals and amateurs from all over the region, gives impetus to the development of horse breeding in the region. The winners are waiting for valuable prizes - UAZ cars and cash prizes," said Alexander Pokhodin, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Trade of the Territory.
An exhibition of modern agricultural machinery and equipment will open for guests and participants of the Field Day. Dealers will present more than 100 units of tractor, harvesting, forage, grain cleaning, tillage and other equipment necessary for agricultural production.
In addition, there will be an exhibition of domestic animals and birds, as well as a competition for goat breeders. Specialists, including Svetlana Novopashina, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, leading researcher at the All-Russian Research Institute of Breeding (Moscow), will evaluate goats in nine categories. The exhibition will also feature rabbits and turkeys, chickens and ducks, goats and sheep of various breeds - more than 120 species of animals.
Their products - seedlings, fruits and berries, homemade preparations, original compositions of flowers and other natural materials - will be presented by summer residents, flower growers, nurserymen, municipal unions of gardeners. More than 70 applications from different territories of the region have already been submitted.
For gardeners and summer residents there will be a contest "In the garden, in the garden." The best ones will be determined in the following nominations: "Siberian curiosity", "Competition of giants - pumpkin" and "Competition of giants - zucchini", "Best horticultural showcase", as well as "Non-profit association for active participation in the event and originality". Valuable prizes for the winners - household and garden equipment.
Connoisseurs of handicraft products will be able to purchase goods made of beads, birch bark, ceramic dishes and souvenirs, toys and much more. 112 craftsmen from different parts of the region plan to participate in the exhibition. At the Field Day, it will also be possible to buy high-quality dairy, meat, vegetable, honey products from local farmers and agricultural enterprises.
During the day, a bright concert program will unfold, in which performances by creative teams from the regions of the region and special guests of the holiday - the Yakhont group.
“We expect that about eight thousand guests and participants will visit the bright agricultural event. Agricultural producers and representatives of industry organizations from the Siberian Federal District - Tomsk and Irkutsk regions, Altai Territory are planning to come to the Field Day, ”said Alexander Pokhodin.
