In Kabardino-Balkaria, in January 2023, compared to January of the previous year, the production of the main types of livestock products increased on the farms of all agricultural producers.
MEAT of livestock and poultry (for slaughter in live weight) received 6.9 thousand tons, exceeding the production in January 2022 by 12.9%.
MILK production amounted to 28.7 thousand tons, or 102.4% compared to the same period last year.
Growth in egg production in all categories of farms amounted to 9.3%.
