Winter wheat has already been harvested 823 thousand tons. More than 40% of the area has been threshed under it. The yield exceeds last year's by 41.5% and amounts to 54.9 q/ha. More than 60 centners per hectare are harvested by farmers in the Yelets and Dolgorukov regions.
32 thousand hectares of barley have been harvested. Almost 150 thousand tons were received. The yield of barley is higher than last year by more than 25%. The top three in terms of yield are Yelets (56.3 c/ha), Chaplyginsky (54.4 c/ha) and Dobrinsky (50.4 c/ha) districts.
Pea harvesting continues. More than 22 thousand tons were harvested with a yield of 30.9 q/ha. And for this crop, the yield is almost 30% higher than last year. The highest yield is demonstrated by the farmers of the Chaplyginsky district - 44.5 q/ha.
Rapeseed threshing has begun in four districts. To date, 1.6 thousand tons have been harvested from 500 hectares. More than 60 thousand hectares have been allocated for this oilseed crop this year.
