Khusnullin announced the cancellation of the economic forum in Yalta

The Yalta International Economic Forum was postponed due to the difficult situation with covid-19. The last time it took place was in 2019. The 2020 event was also canceled due to the pandemic.

The Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) will be canceled this year due to the threat of the spread of CORONAVIRUS, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said on Instagram.

“As you know, in November we had the Yalta International Economic Forum scheduled. Unfortunately, the situation with the coronavirus is deteriorating again, and [the HEAD of Crimea] Sergey Aksyonov and I have decided to cancel the forum this year,” Khusnullin wrote.

Aksyonov confirmed that, in agreement with the Deputy Prime Minister, the forum and other mass events were canceled in Yalta. The restriction is connected “with a difficult epidemiological situation, with an increase in the incidence throughout the country,” he said.

“We will plan to hold YIEF for the next year. As soon as the situation allows, the forum will definitely take place,” Aksyonov promised in his TELEGRAM channel.
