48 new cases of COVID-19 infection detected

According to the headquarters, out of 48 new cases of the disease, four are imported, 44 are contact cases. 15 people have been hospitalized, 33 are being treated at home.

In Kazan, 30 new cases of COVID-19 were detected. Four new cases are in the Tukaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, three in Naberezhnye Chelny. Two new cases each were detected in Verkhneuslonsky, Vysokogorsky and Laishevsky districts, one each in Aktanyshsky, Almetevsky, Zelenodolsky, Mendeleevsky and Menzelinsky districts.

A total of 741,611 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan, of which 496,146 received a second vaccination.

In RUSSIA, 23,704 people were infected per day, the operational headquarters said. The total number of cases exceeded 6 million. 5.4 million people recovered (plus 22.8 thousand per day), more than 150 thousand died (plus 783 per day).
