The detained head doctor of a hospital in Vladikavkaz, where nine patients died due to a malfunction in medical oxygen supply equipment, announced the problems of the medical facility, in particular the need to build a second oxygen supply line. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic.

According to the agency, earlier letters appeared on the Web that the head physician Vladimir Pliev sent to the Ministry of Health of North Ossetia.

“Indeed, these documents were submitted to the Ministry of Health. <...> Pliev, on behalf of the minister, promptly informed the department about issues that required immediate response and intervention, ”the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

In particular, one of Pliev's appeals was received by the department in early July. The request mentioned the need to allocate 800 thousand rubles. for the construction of a second oxygen line. According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, this money was allocated.
