In Naberezhnye Chelny, the vaccination point in the shopping center resumes work

As Deputy Head of the City Health Department Aigul Burganova said today, the COVID-19 vaccination point is reopening in the Omega shopping center . The break in the work of the vaccination room was 2 weeks. 

“From today we are resuming work there. In the last 10 days, there has been an increase in the population. If earlier we vaccinated 100-150 people a day, today it is 350-400 people. The vaccine is available, ”Burganova said at a meeting in the city hall. 

According to her, now 300.6 thousand people have been vaccinated in the city with the first component of the vaccine, 229.9 thousand with the second. To date, 18,294 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Naberezhnye Chelny. 300 beds have been deployed in medical facilities for patients with COVID-19. 200 patients are undergoing this treatment in hospitals. 

Vaccination points in the shopping center of the region began to resume work on August 4. The first was the shopping center "Yuzhny". At the same time, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan stated that it is not planned to deploy them in all shopping centers. However, if necessary, they promised to consider the possibility of opening them in other retail outlets in Kazan. 

As of August 5, according to the operational headquarters, in Tatarstan, 2.6 million citizens were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine, about 2.5 million people completed the full course. The herd immunity level is 4.8%. A week earlier it was 6.9%.
