The Ministry of Health announced a record number of deployed beds

More than 290 thousand beds for patients with CORONAVIRUS infection have been deployed in RUSSIA. This was announced in an interview with Izvestia by the chief infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of HEALTH Vladimir Chulanov.
He called this number of beds a record, compared to the previous peak in the incidence, when a maximum of 270,000 beds were used.

According to Chulanov, the reserve of free beds has decreased, because "now there are much more hospitalized than before."
At the same time, the infectious disease specialist added that in 13 regions there is a slight decrease in the incidence.
