In the Krasnodar Territory tightened restrictions due to coronavirus

In the Krasnodar Territory, it was forbidden to hold and attend mass events of more than 500 people, the regional administration reports. The corresponding resolution was signed by the Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.

As the authorities specified, the measure does not apply to mass events held in educational organizations.

New restrictions were introduced due to the increase in the number of people infected with CORONAVIRUS infection: on July 28, 261 new cases were detected in the region, the total number of infected people was 58.2 thousand. According to the administration, 2.9 thousand patients are being treated in hospitals, another 4.2 thousand. - at home. 4.1 thousand people died.

The high alert mode due to the pandemic has been operating in the Krasnodar Territory since March last year, the authorities extended it until October 1. Residents and those who come to the region must wear masks in crowded places and maintain a social distance of 1.5 m.
