In Bashkiria, six people died from coronavirus per day

Six patients with coronavirus died in Bashkiria over the past day. The total number of deaths from the infection in the republic amounted to 595 people. This is reported by the regional operational headquarters for the fight against COVID-19.

As of the morning of June 30, 41,352 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Bashkiria, including 156 residents of the republic, the diagnosis was confirmed the day before. A total of 38,835 patients recovered, 197 of them in the last 24 hours. Also, 2981 people received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine during the day, the total number of people vaccinated in the region was 374.1 thousand people.

According to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Zabelin, Bashkiria ranks 82nd in the country in terms of morbidity. The head of the regional Ministry of Health said this the day before at a meeting of the republican operational headquarters for combating coronavirus infection, noting that "the gradual increase in the number of infected people is alarming."

Zabelin stressed that the average daily increase in cases per week was 16%, the number of patients with pneumonia increased by a quarter. The occupancy of infectious beds was 92%, in the coming days the regional Ministry of Health plans to deploy 500 additional beds in hospitals.
