In Bashkiria, 677 new cases of COVID-19 were registered per day . Since the beginning of the pandemic, the infection has been confirmed in 100,329 people. This is reported by the operational headquarters of the region to combat the spread of the disease. During the day, 29 patients died. In total, 3249 people became victims of the infection in the region.

As RBC Ufa reported, the government of the Russian Federation has set a plan to vaccinate 80% of the adult population. According to the latest data, Bashkiria completed it by 75.1% - 60.1% of adults were vaccinated. Five municipalities: Chekmagushevsky, Buzdyaksky, Alsheevsky, Chishminsky and Ufimsky districts, reported on achieving a 100% indicator. The vaccination plan was almost fulfilled by the Kushnarenkovsky district, where 99.56% of the adults to be vaccinated were vaccinated.
