-Russian rural Sabantuy will take place in the Muslyumovsky district of Tatarstan on July 2-3. The event expects 30-40 thousand visitors, including guests from 35 regions of the country

As reported today by the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications "Tatmedia", Tatarstan hosts this holiday for the first time. It was planned for 2020 as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the TASSR. However, Sabantuy was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The event will take place in Muslyumovo: on July 2, a concert program will take place, on the 3rd - the main events.

It is expected that the holiday will be visited by 30-40 thousand guests, including 500 people from 35 regions of Russia.

It was noted that 2 points of vaccination against COVID-19 will work at the event . Guests are promised to be provided with personal protective equipment. Today, the head of the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Lilia Galimova said that, subject to the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, mass outdoor events are allowed in the region.

In Tatarstan in 2021, the celebration of the Tatar folk holiday in municipal districts took place on June 12, in Naberezhnye Chelny on June 19, in Kazan on June 26. All events were held offline. In 2020, due to the pandemic, the holiday was reformatted online.

All-Russian rural Sabantuy this year will be held for the 9th time. In 2019, the holiday was hosted by the Samara region. In 2020, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar ASSR, Tatarstan was supposed to host it.
