Moscow will resume the work of street festivals, skating rinks and New Year's fairs, the decision has already been made, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“We will hold master classes, indoor work, concerts only if the situation allows. But in general, we will still hold festivals. <...> Journey to Christmas will be a must,” the HEAD of the city specified, noting that the full-fledged format of festivals would return only with the end of the CORONAVIRUS pandemic.
Last year, New Year's fairs decided to cancel due to the situation with the coronavirus.
The main part of the spheres of the capital's economy has adapted to new conditions due to the covid-19 pandemic , Sobyanin believes.
He said that earlier there were more negative forecasts regarding the economy of the capital. “The pandemic, the economy will collapse, everything will be very bad, very difficult,” he listed, indicating that Moscow has adapted to these difficult conditions.
