Rosstat: mortality from covid in the Tyumen region has increased six times

In the Tyumen region in July 2021, 508 people died who had a history of coronavirus, such data is provided by Rosstat. Compared to July 2020, the death rate has increased six times. COVID-19 stands as the main cause of death in 504 Tyumen residents. In four more, it did not have a significant effect on the development of fatal complications.

— In July 2020, the coronavirus was the leading cause of death for seven people, and in 23 cases it had a significant impact on the development of fatal complications. In another 55 cases, covid was not the main cause of death and did not significantly affect the development of fatal complications in patients. In total, 85 people with a history of coronavirus died in the Tyumen region in July 2020, Rosstat said in a statement.

Also, according to Rosstat, in 2020, 1,246 people who had a history of COVID-19 died in the Tyumen region.
