Israel is ready to accept a possible meeting between Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, Ambassador to RUSSIA Alexander Ben Zvi said in an interview with TASS, stressing that for this the presidents "should make an appropriate decision."

“We are also ready to receive delegations [of Russia and Ukraine]. What was done in Turkey can be done here,” the diplomat added.

Ben Zvi also said that Israel will respond to a request to become a security guarantor for Ukraine if it comes from both Moscow and Kyiv.

On March 12, Zelensky called Israel "and especially Jerusalem" a possible meeting place with Putin. On March 21, he reiterated this position: "This is the right place to find peace, if possible."

Earlier, Turkey and Azerbaijan offered to organize a meeting of leaders.
