Actor and musician, founder of the Sounds of Mu group Pyotr Mamonov, who died on July 15 from the effects of covid-19 , was buried in a cemetery in the town of Vereya near Moscow. This is reported by TASS with reference to one of those present at the ceremony.

Farewell to Mamonov took place on the morning of July 17 in the Donskoy Monastery, after which the funeral cortege went to Vereya, where the musician and his wife have lived for the last 25 years. He was buried at the local cemetery, many local residents came to the ceremony, the source said.

According to RIA Novosti, relatives, colleagues, fans and local residents came to say goodbye to the artist at the Vereya Central Cemetery. After the burial of Mamonov, many did not disperse and stood at the grave for about half an hour.
