The Ministry of Health warned of the risk of thrombosis in a third of those who recovered from COVID

In 20-30% of those who have had a CORONAVIRUS infection, thrombosis may occur as part of the post-covid syndrome. This is stated in the memo (.pdf) of the Ministry of HEALTH on the prevention of complications after COVID-19.

Other serious complications after the illness were attributed by the department to shortness of breath (it is observed in 31.7% of those who recovered), cough (13.5%), complaints of chest pain and tachycardia (12.7%).

The above symptoms may indicate violations in the functioning of the patient's cardiovascular and respiratory systems, the Ministry of Health said. There are other symptoms that are less common, but they can lead to complications, the department warned.

The memo of the Ministry of Health says that in order to timely identify these and other complications after suffering COVID-19, an in-depth medical examination began in the country on July 1, which can be done at a polyclinic at the place of residence.
