This was reported to RIA Novosti by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
“A difficult fire situation is possible on the territory of the Far East, Siberian, Urals, Volga, Northwestern, Southern, North Caucasian federal districts,” the report says.
According to the agency, according to statistics, during the May holidays, the number of fires increases to 30%. “Most of the fires are fires of dry grass, uncollected garbage, forest litter. The main reason is human carelessness, negligent attitude to security issues,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations specified.

Earlier, the department called on all Russians to strictly observe fire safety rules when handling fire on the May holidays, noting that a special fire regime has already been introduced in 33 regions of Russia.
