Coronavirus in Novosibirsk: summary for August 8

Another 199 people fell ill with covid-19in the Novosibirsk region. According to the operational headquarters, on the morning of August 8, 54,299 cases of CORONAVIRUS were registered in the region, including 4,012 children. 45,568 patients fully recovered (+44 per day). Nine more patients have died: men aged 41, 58, 61, 74 and women aged 60, 68, 75, 80, 87. In total, 2,417 people died from coronavirus in the region.

3,915 patients, including 52 children, were hospitalized in infectious disease hospitals of the region with a diagnosis of COVID-19 and with suspicion of it. There are 293 people in intensive care units. On mechanical ventilation - 31 patients. In total, 2,239,849 coronavirus tests have been done in the Novosibirsk Region.
