The American destroyer Forrest Sherman entered the port of Gdansk in Poland, the press service of the US Navy's 6th Fleet reports on Twitter.

The US Navy destroyer Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) has arrived in Gdansk, Poland, on a scheduled port visit to strengthen US-Polish relations and NATO cohesion.

The press service added that before entering the port, the destroyer Forrest Sherman conducted maritime and navigational exercises with the American destroyer Donald Cook, the Polish Oliver Hazard Perry-class missile frigate General Kazimierz Pulaski and the Polish maritime patrol ship Skazak.
