The governor announced the explosions near Belgorod

Explosions occurred near the village of Krasny Oktyabr in the Belgorod region, there were no victims or injured, there was also no destruction on the territory of the settlement, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.

“Now explosions are heard on the territory of Belgorod and the Belgorod region. The incident occurred near the village of Red October. The head of the village is now in place. With me in direct contact. Promptly tells me all the information,” Gladkov wrote, adding that emergency services are now working on the spot.

For now, the explosions have stopped, he later wrote. According to Gladkov, there were no casualties among the villagers.

“An operational group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. Now another tour of the village will be carried out to inspect the houses for damage. I will inform you about the cause of the incident after all the investigative measures taken, ”he said.

The village of Krasny Oktyabr is located approximately 12 km from the Russian-Ukrainian border.
