The number of cases of COVID-19 in the North Caucasus exceeded 271 thousand people

As of October 11, 849 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. This was reported on the Stopcoronavirus.rf website. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of cases of covid in the district has amounted to 271,227 people.

The leader in the daily increase in patients was the Stavropol Territory, where 365 new cases were recorded. In second place is Dagestan, where another 119 patients with coronavirus have been identified. The third line is occupied by Kabardino-Balkaria, where 93 new cases of infection were detected. Also, 74 cases were registered in North Ossetia, 73 in Chechnya, 66 in Ingushetia and 59 in Karachay-Cherkessia.

Over the past day, 623 people have recovered from coronavirus in the North Caucasus Federal District. Total for all time - 237,793 people. The leader in the number of recoveries from covid was the Stavropol Territory, where 201 people were cured. In second place is North Ossetia-Alania (116 people), in third place is Dagestan (106 people). Also, 98 people recovered from coronavirus in Chechnya, 63 in the KBR, 29 in the KChR and 10 in Ingushetia.

In total, 56 deaths from covid were detected in the North Caucasus Federal District over the past day, for the entire time - 9,070. As of October 11, the daily increase in deaths from coronavirus was 33 people in the Stavropol Territory, five each in Dagestan and the KBR, four in North Ossetia, three each - in Chechnya, KChR and Ingushetia.

Over the weekend (October 9-10), 1,686 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District.
