Aksyonov ruled out setting up roadblocks in Crimea following the example of Sevastopol

Crimea will not, following Sevastopol, set up roadblocks at the entrance to the region for the period of non-working days. This was stated by the HEAD of the republic Sergei Aksyonov, reports "Kryminform".

“I saw that colleagues in Sevastopol decided that they also check QR codes when leaving. To be honest, I don’t see any point in isolating ourselves from Sevastopol residents. And such actions [in Crimea] will not be taken,” Aksyonov said.

At the same time, the head of the region said that he had asked the Russian Ministry of Transport not to introduce additional flights for tourists during non-working days, since they began to submit applications for this period in order to organize such flights.

Earlier, Aksyonov said that non-working days were introduced in the region from October 30 to November 7. He asked the inhabitants of the peninsula to refrain from traveling to nature or to other regions, to reduce contacts and to observe other epidemiological safety measures. At the same time, on October 27, he explained that a complete lockdown would not be introduced in the republic, business would work with restrictions.

Before the lockdown, Sevastopol broke the record for the number of deaths from covid-19 Society
