August 11, MINSK. Gingerbread and tea went up in price in July, cabbage and tomatoes became cheaper, BelTA informs citing the data of the National Statistical Committee.

Fresh white cabbage fell in price by 41.17%, tomatoes - by 14.81%, cucumbers - by 12.89%, bananas - by 14.07%, sweet peppers - by 10.01%, grapes - by 14.42% .

In turn, gingerbread rose in price by 4.13%, tea - 4.07%, salmon caviar - 3.69%, canned MEAT for children and diet food - 2.02%, semi-finished products from poultry meat - 2.02%.

In general, vegetables became cheaper by 14.23%, fruits - by 11.26%. MILK and dairy products went up by 1.31%, meat and meat products - by 1.08%, bread and bakery products - by 1.14%, cereals and legumes - by 1.09%, fish and fish products - by 0.76 %.

Lunches in the canteen fell in price by 0.36%, in restaurants and cafes rose in price by 0.71%, fast food - by 1.32%.

Tobacco products rose in price by 1.31%, alcoholic beverages - by 0.11%.

Non-food products in July became more expensive by 1.22%. Clothes went up by 0.38%, carpets - by 0.28%, textiles - by 1.05%, medicines - by 0.01%, shoes - 0.05%.

The cost of services increased by 0.76%. In July, housing and communal services remained at the same level. Hotel services rose in price by 1.61%, photo studios - by 0.59%, HEALTH resorts - by 1.58%, dry cleaning of outerwear - by 0.20%.

Passenger transport services became more expensive (0.62%), in particular, international rail transport services - by 7.57%.

As reported, inflation in Belarus in July amounted to 0.5%.
