The delegation led by the Prime Minister got acquainted with the work of the branch "Slavgorodskiy" of JSC "Babushkina Krynka", which specializes in the production of hard and semi-hard rennet cheeses. When discussing the development of the enterprise, Roman Golovchenko outlined the issues of reducing the cost of exports, including through the creation of new industries outside the country. Such logistics stimulates the further development of the enterprise. Thus, today most of the processing holding's exports are concentrated on the Russian market. In numbers, this is more than 72%. However, other areas need to be developed.Today, the assortment list of the "Slavgorodsky" branch includes 33 items of products of various fat content and maturation periods. The production capacity is 12 tons of cheese per day.
“Last year, 44.6 thousand tons of MILK were processed here and more than 3.5 thousand tons of cheese were produced. This is 25.3% more than in 2021,” says Vladimir Belyus, HEAD of the branch. production was allowed by the modernization, which was completed two years ago, in accordance with Decree No. 235 "On the socio-economic development of the south-eastern region of the Mogilev region."
As an example of modernization, we can talk about the replacement of block molds at the cheese production site - an innovation made it possible to produce cheese in the form of a bar. A new cheese ripening area has also been opened here, which produces products with a long ripening period. We replaced a lot of equipment, including for improving the quality of whey. Instead of the old one, a new pasteurizing and cooling unit appeared at the thickening section. In turn, the ripening chamber with a capacity of up to 265 tons, installed at the end of 2021, made it possible to produce elite varieties of cheese with a long ripening period in Slavgorod.
