Raw milk trading suspended at BUCE

February 4, MINSK. From February 1, 2022, the sale by agricultural producers of a free resource of MILK raw materials on the electronic trading platform of the JSC "Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange" has been suspended. This was reported to BelTA in the press service of MART.

"The implementation has been suspended for the period of validity of price restrictions on dairy products established by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of February 23, 2021 No. 100 "On temporary measures to stabilize prices for socially significant essential goods," the ministry noted.

Raw milk purchase and sale agreements concluded between business entities based on the results of exchange trading at BUCE before February 1, 2022, must be executed, since in accordance with the exchange trading rules approved by Resolution No. 3 of the BUCE Board dated November 22, 2005, participants are responsible for failure to fulfill obligations under completed exchange transactions.
