June 2, Gomel. The issues of collecting milk from the population, infrastructure in the agro-town of Eremino, the development of football in the Gomel region were discussed today at a personal reception held by the chairman of the regional executive committee Gennady Solovey, BelTA has learned.

A resident of the village of Baranovka, Zhlobin district, asked about collecting milk from the population. The man runs a private farm, which now has six cows. Last year, the villager handed over 25 tons of milk. “In January of this year - 2.8 thousand, for 10 days of February - 1 thousand. Now the milk yield is 110-120 liters per day, but they don’t collect milk from me,” the man said. According to him, the reason is in disagreements with the milk collector. "He underestimates the fat content of milk. According to the contract, samples should be taken every 10 days, but this did not happen, and the collector set the numbers from himself. I planned to develop, but now I am thinking of selling cows," he added. The villager explained that he had applied to the district executive committee and wrote a letter to the regional executive committee. There were checks from various organizations, including the dairy, but the issue is not being resolved.

Gennady Solovey instructed to conduct a commission control sampling of milk for analysis and verification.

Two residents of Eremino, Gomel district, voiced several questions at the reception regarding the infrastructure of the agro-town. “On our Vokzalnaya street, they level the road with a grader, but this is literally enough for a couple of days. And then it’s difficult to drive and walk again, it’s very dusty on the street,” they described the situation. They also complained about the quality of water, the pressure in the water supply networks. "They promised to connect us to the engineering networks of Gomelvodokanal, but the deadlines are still being shifted," residents of the agro-town specified. They also have questions about road safety at one of the intersections.

The issues raised at the reception will be considered by the governor on site.

A resident of Gomel considers it necessary to think over a system that would promote the development of football in Gomel and the region, would clearly reflect a long-term perspective for fans, and involve more and more people. "Football is a social phenomenon that contributes to the consolidation of society, which is relevant in the current conditions. The state has not turned its back on sports, it invests heavily in various sports. But if you look at the current situation in football, is there an adequate return?" - Asked a resident of the regional center. According to him, both the management of the Gomel football club and the stadium are doing a lot, but they alone cannot solve the issue. The Gomel resident believes that joint events are needed with the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, it is important to bring difficult teenagers to matches for free, to hold a sports lottery.

"It is necessary to create such a system so that development proceeds starting with children's sports. There must be a base, infrastructure. Plus, licensing is necessary so that teams work for the future and so that there are no artificially created teams," the applicant added.

The Governor noted that the topic discussed includes a whole range of issues. According to him, an important step is the creation of football grounds. This year alone, ten football fields and grounds will be built and reconstructed in the region. It is also important for coaches to work more actively in the field, to lead their own school. Other nuances that will contribute to the development of football in the region were also discussed.
