Rosobrnadzor assessed the readiness of the regions to conduct the exam

Almost all Russian regions are ready to conduct a campaign to pass the unified state exam (USE), said the acting head of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Muzaev. The broadcast of his press conference is conducted by MIA "Russia Today".

“Literally now, testing is underway, all the equipment is being tested, in fact, and the work of the organizers in printing control and measuring materials. Now, according to Moscow time, Moscow and all the regions that are finishing their approbation in the Moscow time zone are just participating. Today, we see the readiness of almost all subjects,” Muzaev said.

He recalled that this year schoolchildren will not have the opportunity to retake exams. Muzaev explained this decision by the fact that the graduates had already received certificates. Thus, the students will have only one attempt, he noted.

Earlier, Muzaev promised that the results of the USE in 2020 would be available until August 15. “Those dates that everyone sees in the schedule, taking into account the reserve days in August, are calculated precisely from the consideration that we will have time to process and issue the results before August 15,” he said. According to him, all universities will see these results and will be able to select for at least ten days, and then issue orders for enrollment.
