June 15, MINSK. Agricultural production in Belarus in farms of all categories (agricultural organizations, peasant (farmer) farms, households) in January-May amounted to Br5.9 billion, or 99.7% in comparable prices compared to the same period in 2020, BelTA informs. .

Farms of all categories received 753 thousand tons of livestock and poultry in live weight, 3207.2 thousand tons of MILK, 1422 million eggs. Agricultural organizations account for 96.4% of livestock and poultry production in live weight, 97.6% of milk and 87.4% of eggs.

As of June 1, there were 4.2 million heads of cattle in agricultural organizations, including 1.4 million cows. The number of pigs was 2.5 million.
