March 14, Minsk . The government has expanded the list of goods prohibited for import and sale on the territory of Belarus. Corresponding amendments were made to Council of Ministers Resolution No. 700 dated December 6, 2021, BELTA reports.

In particular, the specified list includes certain goods originating from the Republic of Lithuania: condensed milk and cream, fruits and nuts, coffee , fruit juices, water, vinegar, tights, stockings, knee socks, socks and other hosiery products, certain construction products , refrigerators and freezers.

“The adopted resolution is another response to Lithuania’s decision to stop the movement of goods, transport and people through two border checkpoints,” the government noted.
