The situation on the raw milk market remains tense

In March, high commodity prices supported the launch and growth of small and medium-sized manufacturing sites. At the same time, there has been no seasonal increase in the supply of raw materials in the country. – PioneerProduct

Such a disproportion between supply and demand puts pressure on the purchase prices of raw milk. In April, prices for agricultural raw materials remained unchanged compared to March levels (prices have been at a more or less stable level for 4 months in a row).

The demand for raw materials of the population is very high. If the pickers of raw materials pay the prices they promised for the first half of the month, then the average April price for this category of raw materials will have to be increased by 10-20 kopecks by March.

The price range of raw materials for agricultural enterprises in mid-April with the new VAT rate is 10.10-11.90 UAH/kg. The average cost of milk of the population in Ukraine is about 7.00 UAH/kg without VAT.
