Today, a construction fence was removed at the site of the demolished BelExpo building on Yanka Kupala Street, Minsk resident Andrey Ezerin wrote on Facebook. We found out why we did it.

Photos of the dismantling of the fence at the site of the future Arab multifunctional complex gave rise to various opinions in the comments under the post. Some people took this as a sign that there would be no construction at all.

For a comment on this situation, we turned to the head of the architecture and construction department of the administration of the Central District , Victoria Dolgovskaya

As it turned out, the city demolished the buildings in this area on its own, at its own expense and under a separate project. This work was completed and the contractor removed the fence, as is always the case after the completion of any construction project. Now the site is ready for commissioning for further investment development.

“The site will be handed over by the decision of the city to the investor, and he will put up his own fence during the development of this territory,  ” Dolgovskaya explained.

Recall that on the site of the 2nd hospital and "BelExpo" within the boundaries of the streets of Yanka Kupala - Maxim Bogdanovich and the Svisloch River, an Arab investor will build a multifunctional complex with a hotel by 2021.
