Dairy farm opened in Pinsk region

May 7, MINSK. Today the solemn opening of a dairy farm in the village of Stavok, Pinsk region, took place. The event was attended by Minister of Agriculture and Food Ivan Krupko and Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Yury Shuleiko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

The livestock sector in the Pinsk region is characterized by its intensive development. The average MILK yield per cow last year amounted to more than 6 thousand kg - an increase by almost 300 kg by 2019. Gross milk production in the region increased by more than 30% over the five-year period, the production (raising) of livestock and poultry - by 40%, and the average milk yield per cow - by 1.2 thousand kg.

Проведенная работа по модернизации производственных мощностей позволила создать в районе 34 молочно-товарных комплекса с высокой эффективностью работы и максимальной реализацией потенциала продуктивности дойного стада. Средний удой молока по этим фермам в 2020 году превысил среднереспубликанский удой более чем на 1 тыс. кг молока и составил 6,3 тыс. кг.

Существенный вклад в валовое производство молока внесло и ОАО "Ставокское". Средний удой молока от коровы за прошлый год в сельхозорганизации составил 6,7 тыс. кг (плюс 1,6 тыс. кг к 2019 году), валовое производство молока увеличилось на 34%.
