Large trades in butter for export were held at BUCE

June 14, Minsk. The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange hosted large sales of butter for export, BUCE press secretary Roman Yaniv told a BelTA correspondent.

Butter worth more than $1.5 million was sold during export exchange trading held at BUCE. In terms of the amount of completed transactions, these auctions became the largest this year for this type of product. The trading session was attended by 15 companies from Belarus and other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The transaction was made by a participant from Russia.

The BUCE notes that the surge of interest in Belarusian butter is associated with a shortage of supply on the world market, formed against the backdrop of growing purchases from the largest importers - China , Russia and the USA .

“For exporting enterprises, the market situation is now very favorable. Prices for dairy products, including butter, are growing throughout 2021. For example, back in March, butter with a fat content of 82.5% delivered on FCA terms was trading at $4 .64 per 1 kg, in June - already at $5.13 per 1 kg, i.e. the price increased by more than 10%. mechanism," the press service said.

In general, the export of agricultural products through BUCE in January-May increased by 4.3 times, to $52.7 million. -blue".

JSC "Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange" was established in 2004. The first auction took place in June 2005. BUCE is one of the largest commodity exchanges in Eastern Europe. The main function of the exchange is to assist Belarusian enterprises in exporting products and to help foreign companies enter the Belarusian market. The exchange sells metal, timber, agricultural products, industrial and consumer goods of a wide range.
