
February 20, MINSK . The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleynik will visit the city of Harare (Zimbabwe) on February 21-23 to hold the first meeting of the Joint Standing Commission on Cooperation of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Zimbabwe. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. 
 
The Belarusian delegation to work within the Commission will include heads and employees of the ministries of industry, agriculture and food, HEALTH, education, a number of state enterprises and concerns of our country. 
 
The Zimbabwean side will be led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Frederick Shawa. it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues of trade, economic, investment cooperation, industrial cooperation, Belarus’ participation in the mechanization of Zimbabwe’s agriculture, and strengthening the food security of the African state. 
 
The agenda of the negotiations will include a number of specific economic projects aimed at bringing bilateral interaction to a qualitatively new level and increasing trade turnover between the countries. 
 
The work program additionally includes a visit to the service center of Belarusian equipment and participation in the presentation of Belarusian MILK processing enterprises. Negotiations are planned with a number of Zimbabwean officials. 
 
These days the Belarusian-Zimbabwean business forum is also taking place in Harare.
