The work schedule of the President of Belarus is always very eventful. Alexander Lukashenko holds conferences and working meetings on the most pressing issues of the country's development, regularly visits the regions, makes foreign visits and receives foreign guests himself, communicates with journalists, signs decrees and laws. And even when there are no public events, this does not mean at all that the HEAD of state is not working. However, during the rest, whether it's hockey training or chopping wood, Alexander Lukashenko no, no, yes, and he will find a reason for the next assignment. As he likes to say, in everything one must proceed from life.

The "President's Week" project is for those who want to keep up with the head of state, to be aware of the most relevant statements and decisions of the Belarusian leader.

What an ambitious task Alexander Lukashenko has set on the Russian vector, why the President is extremely dissatisfied with the work of domestic medicine and for which he promised to deprive responsible positions and “tear off their skins” if they do not put things in order before the new year. Why is it now necessary to literally run in the development of the Eurasian Economic Union, how it is connected with the SCO and BRICS, and in which RUSSIA should take on the role of a locomotive. And also about the mysterious handshake with Putin and agreements on nuclear weapons, the most important issue on the agenda, the answer to the "sick" Polish general, a reliable barrier for foreign saboteurs and much more - in the new issue of BelTA's special project "President's Week".

FULL LAYOUT. What the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia reported to Lukashenka

On May 22, the head of state received Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoy with a comprehensive report on bilateral cooperation. The President at the beginning of the meeting outlined a number of key issues for discussion. This is the state of trade and economic cooperation and dynamics in this direction, the development of interaction with the regions of Russia, the need to resolve certain emerging problematic issues, the implementation of union programs and logistics issues for the supply of domestic goods abroad. They also discussed preparations for participation in the II Eurasian Economic Forum, which took place this week in Moscow.

“First of all, the basis is the economy . As economists, we are well aware that without this there can be no relations. I know the numbers, I know that the trade turnover has increased, and we have finally reached a positive balance. That is, trade is balanced. I am interested in dynamics, trends," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

Traditionally, great attention is paid to direct cooperation with Russian regions. “We have always said that our success in Russia is the regions. I see, I observe that you visit the regions a lot. And rightly so. Governors come to us. We receive them at the highest level. on the ground, to Belarus, Belarusian products? In general, the image of Belarus in this vast Russian space," Alexander Lukashenko pointed out another topic for discussion.

The head of state noted that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin often meet. “But this is not to look at each other. Although this is important, the moods of presidents are always important. Nevertheless, we tried to help governments untie some knots, including you,” the President said.

He asked if everything had been decided on the Belarusian side, if there were any questions for the presidents and governments in order to discuss certain problematic issues with the Russian colleague during the meeting.

Another block of questions at the meeting was cooperation on the implementation of allied programs in various areas: "We talk a lot about this. But I'm more interested in specific programs here. As we called them, import substitution and so on. Remember, up to $ 1.5 billion, Russia was ready (highlight. - Approx. BELTA) And I'm sure, and now they do not refuse, if somewhere undercredited up to this amount."

Alexander Lukashenko and Dmitry Krutoy

The President stressed that neither Russia nor Belarus could be strangled by the West. Including the countries are working together to resolve the issues of logistics and transport. Belarus is particularly interested in a speedy solution for cabotage transportation in Russia. All questions are under constant control of Alexander Lukashenko.

Dmitry Krutoy shared some of the results of the meeting with reporters. An ambitious task has been set - to increase the volume of cooperation with the Urals, Siberia and the Russian Far East by several times. So far, despite the huge interest in cooperation, the indicators of mutual trade are relatively low. "President's phrase: 'Stop throwing over the fence!' It is clear that Smolensk, Bryansk and Pskov are our neighbors. But we must go further. The attitude towards us is no worse there," the ambassador said.

Topic number one for the President is the protection of the market and those commodity items for which there are still problems. A monitoring group is working in this direction on a permanent basis, analyzing the situation for specific goods. In general, the figures of trade with Russia are growing, and even the balance for Belarus is positive. But there are those product groups that should be activated. Among them are the products of the domestic light industry, woodworking, chemical complexes.

TREATED MINISTRY OF HEALTH. What surprised the President the most after checking the healthcare system

On May 23, Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting on topical health issues. Among the participants of the event were the leadership of the Ministry of Health, governors and heads of regional health departments, rectors of medical universities, chief doctors of hospitals at various levels, directors of some republican scientific and practical centers.

The President recalled that he announced this meeting during the Address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly in order to consider in detail the most acute problems of national healthcare and make the necessary decisions. "For this purpose, professionals have been specially invited to this hall in such a wide composition - from a practicing DOCTOR and not even to the Minister of Health, but senior officials," he said.

“Medicine, as you know, is not only the treatment of patients, but also an important component of the security of any state, especially ours. There will be no economy without a healthy nation. In any state, the economy is the foundation. real sovereignty and independence," the Belarusian leader stressed.

The main thing is the attitude towards ordinary people

Alexander Lukashenko stated that the national health care system has confirmed its viability and has been well tempered during the pandemic. Against the background of other states, it more than adequately passed this test. He once again thanked all the doctors for the hard work.

And in general, there are indeed a number of achievements in domestic healthcare. For example, in the field of protection of motherhood and childhood, in transplantology, and so on.

Everything possible is being done by the state. Funds for medicine - repairs, equipment, salaries, medicines - are allocated colossal. And, of course, people have the right to see the return. "It will be about how we treat our people, how we treat our ordinary people, without whom we would not be in this hall. And more specifically: how we treat people there - in the countryside, in small towns, towns, agro-towns, how do we treat them? Not in the Republican Scientific and Practical Center - this is also important, they are in the forefront, they must set an example and teach those who are directly on the barricades," the President outlined the main fundamental issue for discussion.

Recently, there have been many signals about a decrease in the quality of medical care, and simply about the lack of proper order in healthcare institutions. These facts were studied by an independent working group created on behalf of the head of state. But not only her. The heads of the Prosecutor General's Office also expressed their assessments.

The leadership of the Ministry of Health and local officials, including governors, received a fair amount of criticism and harsh warnings from the lips of the President. The government also got it for banal replies on problematic issues.

“Having shoveled these materials more than once, what surprised me most of all? The fact that there are still egregious problems of chaos in hospitals, clinics, first aid centers: walls and ceilings are collapsing, doors are slanted, elementary sanitary rules are not observed. Listen, any healthcare institution must be a model of sanitation. And this happens even in pediatric wards. Look, but there are children there! Or are they not your children? Of course, these are not your children . But they are my children!" Alexander Lukashenko said.

There are a number of other problematic issues related to the operation and repair of expensive modern equipment, public services in FAPs and district hospitals, long queues for examinations, staffing and the quality of medical training. Alyaksandr Lukashenka gave clear instructions on all the sore points and warned about the inadmissibility of mutual responsibility.

"I will stop at nothing, and! Even if half of you leave. But I will know with whom I will work. They have become insolent to the extreme. They run around the bosses from the district level to the President. Only we can treat them beautifully. And ordinary people who contain all this? Get down on the ground! Everything in the country depends on us, sitting in this hall," the President emphasized. "The main indicator of the effectiveness of your work is not the number of reports, but the people whom you helped to keep healthy , but sometimes even life.

As an acute problem, the head of state outlined the availability and quality of medical care in the countryside. "I will never forgive you for the village. Never! Remember this. First of all, the governors. I will tear your skin off, but you will put things in order there!" - the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Pay off all "debts" before the new year

Alexander Lukashenko summed up the meeting by setting a specific deadline by which all identified shortcomings must be eliminated at all costs.

"A week later, I have a document on my desk - either an order, or a protocol of instructions. Gather a transcript, everything that was discussed. Everything should be written down. There is only one deadline - January 1 next year," the President emphasized. "All the shortcomings that were discussed here must be eliminated by January 1. The President must sign a document obliging everyone - from the government to the Federal Antimonopoly Service."

The implementation of all instructions should be taken under control, the head of state demanded. Responsible for this are the KGC and the General Prosecutor's Office . “God forbid they will report to me that you have not fulfilled at least a comma or after a comma, blame yourself. There must be progress everywhere,” the President said.

During the meeting

Alexander Lukashenko instructed to keep the working group that studied the situation in healthcare. By the end of the year, she will have to once again monitor those institutions that were taken into account.

The head of state also drew attention to the training of personnel, instructing to conduct an audit. "Look at them as much as possible. Rectors and the leadership of universities need to be shaken up, they are not being shaken up - make proposals for replacing them. Everyone - that means everyone. This is intolerable, everything starts from there," he said.

Part of the assignments is also assigned to the chairmen of the regional executive committees: they will have to deal with the material base of health care institutions.

"In all directions, I have given instructions. And God forbid, something will not be done there. Get connected and start working. Otherwise, guys, I will not spare anyone. And if someone thinks that I was going to die, calm down. Calm down "This is nothing more than idle reasoning in messengers and TELEGRAM channels. Adenovirus or what was there? Adenovirus. It takes three days to be treated. But since I didn’t have the opportunity to be treated (I need to go to Moscow, then subbotniks, then to Grodno, then Gomel ), all this has accumulated. Therefore, I am not going to die, guys. You will still suffer with me for a very long time," Alexander Lukashenko said.

Alexander Lukashenko

“If we couldn’t, there would be no demand from you. But we can. There will be no complacency. We are creating our own country. We have done a lot.

INTEGRATION, NOT CONFRONTATION. Why time and speed are especially important for the EAEU now

Alexander Lukashenko arrived on May 24 on a two-day working visit to Russia. On that day, the II Eurasian Economic Forum kicked off in Moscow, which was traditionally timed to coincide with the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The summit took place the next day, and the President of Belarus also took part in it.

The motto of the forum this year is "Eurasian integration in a multipolar world." The events were attended by over 2.7 thousand representatives of authorities , the business community, international organizations, the media, including several hundred foreign representatives from more than 50 countries.

In his speech, the President presented the position and priorities of Belarus on key issues of cooperation. In many ways, Alexander Lukashenko's speech was of a programmatic nature, not only in the regional, but also in the global sense. For example, Alexander Lukashenko paid special attention to the international positioning of the union, spoke about combining the integration efforts of the EAEU, SCO and BRICS, stressed the role of Russia in the development of these processes.

The President of Belarus updated such topics as industrial and technological, energy and information security in the EAEU space. Alexander Lukashenko called the food sector and security in this area the basis of the foundations. The issues of ecology and the implementation of national strategies for sustainable development did not stand aside either.

“We are developing integration not for the purpose of some kind of confrontation. President Putin often talks about this. We want to create a multipolar, equal, safe space for life. If we don’t do this, we will trail behind. And they will constantly wipe their feet about us,” he said. President: “This is our common goal, and we are ready to work hard for its speedy implementation.”

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the most important thing today is time. "Time is running out. Cruelly running out. We cannot lag behind, and we must not lag behind. And our Eurasian Economic Union can play a big role in this, since it has colossal prospects. I would even say that the prospects are no less than the SCO and BRICS taken separately. Therefore, a lot needs to be done, we are moving in the right direction. Patience and time. And speed."

The origin of Eurasianism in "Putin's kitchen"

Before the speech of the head of the Belarusian state, the moderator of the plenary session Alexander Shokhin noted that Alexander Lukashenko is the patriarch of integration processes in the post-Soviet space to no lesser extent than the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev. The President of Belarus stood at the origins of many integration processes, advocated the preservation of economic ties between the countries.

“To be frank, I, as an experienced person, was present at the origins of many processes. I must tell you that our Eurasianism, the current EAEU began in the kitchen of President Putin. good. I remember when he invited us home. The peculiarity of this moment was that Ukraine was with us then - Leonid Danilovich Kuchma (ex-president of Ukraine. - Approx. BelTA)," the head of state said.

“Although I told my colleague that it is unlikely that anything will come of it due to the situation that already then began to take shape in our post-Soviet space and here in our region. But nevertheless, as many as 28, in my opinion, documents we developed it together with Ukraine. But then, as I expected, Ukraine withdrew from this process," Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.

The President sees the merit of Nursultan Nazarbayev in the fact that no matter how the parties sometimes, especially Russia at that time, tried to give the union a certain political character or even a little military-political character, he always kept his colleagues within the framework of the economic union. "Well, since decisions were always made by consensus, we have come to what we have today," the head of the Belarusian state said.

There is safety in numbers

"Recently, the world has been living in an atmosphere of constant tension and uncertainty. This is also natural in the transition period from the old era to the new one, to which we aspire and whose name is multipolarity. Crises - financial, pandemic, geopolitical - replace each other so quickly that people simply do not have time to take a breath and, unfortunately, lose confidence in the future," the head of state said in his speech at the meeting.

He emphasized that in extraordinary conditions, a stable economy is always a powerful anchor. But the economic borders of any state today are so transparent, and trade relations are intertwined to such an extent that achieving economic stability alone is an almost impossible task for any of the states.

Therefore, any country is interested in participating in powerful regional and international associations, such as the EAEU, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN.

Alexander Lukashenko spoke on a number of topical issues related to the integration agenda. Let us briefly recall what was discussed here.

On the international positioning of the EAEU

The center of the world economy is irreversibly shifting towards developing countries. First of all, there will be development. These are the countries of Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. These states no longer want to be raw material appendages, sources of cheap labor, the head of state noted.

“In our opinion, the combination of integration efforts in the format of our Eurasian Union, the SCO and BRICS will contribute to the creation of the largest coalition of states, if, as people say, we don’t oversleep, if we don’t oversleep,” said Alexander Lukashenko. “Today is such a moment, that we must not go, but run. We need those who want to, I will say frankly, to pick up for themselves as soon as possible.

The President emphasized the role of Russia in these processes: “Russia should not lower its head in connection with the current situation. Russia can become a very strong locomotive both in the SCO and in the BRICS in giving momentum to the development of these organizations. what progressive humanity dreams of - in the future and their unification".

"Russia must be very active. Its authority, despite the fact that the West is shouting against Russia in all the media, is enormous. Russia has taken the risk of challenging the unipolar world, is at the forefront of these processes. Well, we are close," Alexander stressed. Lukashenko.

In order to develop full-fledged relations between the EAEU and priority regional associations and friendly third countries, it is necessary to take several important steps towards each other: “Finally, as we often say, national egoism must be overcome. remove barriers, switch to settlements in national currencies, expand free trade zones."

About industrial and technological safety

Alexander Lukashenko calls for strengthening technological sovereignty in the Eurasian Economic Union, regardless of the dynamics of relations with the West. According to the Belarusian leader, industrial cooperation will make it possible to create products under the Eurasian brand with the maximum degree of localization, as well as to form new import-substituting projects. More than a quarter of industrial goods imported into the union for about $70 billion a year can be replaced by products of national manufacturers. "A huge piece. God forbid to master it. The fourth industrial revolution provides a chance for the effective implementation of import-substituting initiatives in the real sector of the economy at the regional level," he said .

The President also listed the areas that will be a priority for Belarus. This is the development of the production of high-precision equipment equipped with a modern electronic microprocessor component base and software, the implementation of joint projects for the production of electronic and optical products, increasing attention to the technologies for creating chips, integrated circuits, unmanned control technologies, automation and robotization of the manufacturing industry.

Another priority for Belarus is the production of electromechanical systems, including the development of technologies for the production of modern mechatronic and electromechanical components of robotic systems, CNC systems, as well as lithium-ion batteries.

About energy security

"The development and deepening of integration cooperation in the energy sector, strengthening the position of the EAEU in the context of global energy security remains a top priority. I am convinced that the efficient operation of the economies of our countries is unthinkable without equal access of business entities to energy resources and infrastructure for their transportation," the head of state said.

About information security

In his speech, Alexander Lukashenko noted: "The digital agenda of the union requires significant updating. First of all, this concerns the Integrated Information System of the EAEU, which ensures the joint operation of state information resources and systems of the states of our union. We must create and control this, without leaving it to the Americans or Western Europeans, as it was before. We have trained personnel and a material and technical base. People are ready to work in this direction."

Alexander Lukashenko

About food security

The head of state called this issue the basis of the foundations. The Eurasian region has unique opportunities to increase production and exports. The demand for food is enormous, and it is only growing. However, there are a number of challenges that need to be addressed in this area. It is necessary to determine the list of critical import goods for the food market of the EAEU member states through the possibilities of their own existing production facilities, their expansion and creation of new ones.

Another task is to ensure the convergence of measures of state support for agriculture and the legal framework for its provision, taking into account the national interests of the participating countries. Alexander Lukashenko also called for the rapid digitalization of production processes in crop and livestock production.

On environmental safety

The head of the Belarusian state said: "The so-called green agenda is actively used by counter-partners in the West as one of the instruments of pressure and restraint on the economic development of our countries. The current environmental standards Euro-5, 6 and all subsequent ones have nothing to do with environmental protection."

Unlike the European Union, the national strategies for sustainable (green) development adopted in all EAEU countries do not limit anyone. They imply, first of all, the modernization of economies, the creation of high-tech joint ventures, a thrifty attitude to resources, the proper handling of waste, an increase in the ecological culture of the population and the responsibility of business. "That's exactly the way we think we should move," the Belarusian leader is sure.

ONE FOR TWO. Why did Lukashenka and Putin shake hands during the speech of the President of Kazakhstan

The speech of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Eurasian Economic Forum was discussed in the media, especially in the part where he spoke about the Union State. The Kazakh leader either praised or reproached Belarus and Russia for the fact that within the "five" of the EAEU these two countries have developed special and in many ways unique relations in world political history.

"We have a Union State in the EAEU. A unique precedent has been created in world political history, or a phenomenon, if you like, the creation of a state according to the formula "two countries - one state" with a single political, legal, military, economic, monetary, cultural, humanitarian space. With a single union government, parliament. And even nuclear weapons are one for two now. There is another level of integration, represented by Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia. We need to reckon with this reality. How we will work in these conditions is a conceptual question. We it is necessary, I think, including at this forum, to discuss this problem," the President of Kazakhstan said.

However, why this suddenly became a problem is also not very clear. After all, the EAEU and even the Customs Union that preceded it were already formed under the current Union State, and this never bothered anyone. On the contrary, the advanced Belarusian-Russian experience may be in demand in the further development of the Eurasian Economic Union, which Alexander Lukashenko will say the next day in his speech at the summit.

But even more interesting among journalists was not even the words of the President of Kazakhstan about one nuclear weapon for two, but the fact that at that moment Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin were talking about something, smiling and shaking hands.

Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin

On the sidelines of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in the Kremlin on May 25, the President of Belarus, at the request of journalists, revealed the details.

“When it came to nuclear weapons, to be honest, I didn’t even hear it very well because of the acoustics. And Vladimir Vladimirovich tells me that now, a decision has been made to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. He told me about it. I say: "Thank you!" That's what it was about. No more," Alexander Lukashenko shared the details.

The President answered the same question later to another group of journalists. “It was about the fact that he informed me that he signed a decree on our actions to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus. That is, it was about a specific document. A decision was made in development of what was said orally. Belarus. - Approx. BELTA) and places of storage, etc. We have done all this. Therefore, the movement of nuclear weapons has begun," the President said.

"Has it already begun? Is it (nuclear weapons. - Approx. BelTA) already in Belarus?" - a clarifying question was asked.

“Perhaps. I will come and have a look,” Aleksandr Lukashenko replied.

The head of state was also asked a question about ensuring the security of nuclear weapons. "This is not even discussed. You know that we are punctual, accurate, masterful people, as you say. Therefore, do not worry about nuclear weapons. We are responsible for this. These are serious issues. Everything will be all right here, too," - he assured.

SOLUTION CENTER. What role should the Eurasian Economic Union play in the world?

On May 25 Alexander Lukashenko took part in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow. The leaders of the countries first discussed the issues on the agenda in a narrow format in the format of the five EAEU member countries, and then in an expanded format with the participation of the leaders of the states - observers at the integration association and invited distinguished guests. Among them, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who attended the meeting of the SEEC for the first time. The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon joined the leaders of the countries via video link. In the format of a video message, the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, delivered a welcoming speech.

CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev, SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming and State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev were also invited.

The leaders of the countries signed a protocol on amending the Treaty on the EAEU in terms of providing financial assistance in the implementation of joint cooperation projects by the EAEU states in industries, as well as a package of amendments to the Treaty on the EAEU, the so-called III Big Protocol. In total, the leaders of the countries signed a dozen and a half different documents. "This suggests that we, within the framework of our union, do not stop at the basic agreement of 2014, but expand its horizons with new areas of cooperation and concretization of certain provisions," Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the EEC Board, noted at a briefing for journalists .

At the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko expressed the opinion that the Eurasian Economic Union should become.

"The modern world is at the stage of global change, entering an era of large-scale transformations and strategic development. There is an awareness of the need to replace the unipolar management system with new decision-making centers that ensure that the interests of all participants in international relations are taken into account. The attention shown to the events taking place today in Moscow , clearly indicates that the Eurasian Economic Union should become one of such centers," the Belarusian leader said.

The President made a number of statements concerning the practical aspects of the development of cooperation in the Union. The President called the decision to provide financial assistance to industrial cooperation projects a landmark document and expects a serious return from it.

front work

“On a number of the most important issues of the internal agenda of Eurasian integration, we are moving difficultly and frankly slowly. First of all, we are talking about the implementation of measures on the digital agenda, the liberalization of the transport market,” the head of state stated. “But these are fundamental areas of activity for our economies. against the backdrop of sanctions has only increased.

No barriers, no restrictions!

The creation of a full-fledged economic union remains a priority task for all of us, the Belarusian leader stressed.

"Everyone notes the progress in this issue, but I remain in the same position: This is the basic principle of building our union, and we must achieve the goal in the very near future," the President said.

He also noted the great work done to form a common market for state and municipal procurement.

Joint response to sanctions

“Our response to sanctions pressure is to conclude new trade agreements and constructive mutually beneficial cooperation with everyone who is ready to be friends and work with us,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

At the same time, the President drew attention to the fact that, as a result, a balance of interests of all participants should be ensured.

cut through the window

Alexander Lukashenko called the improvement of transport infrastructure and the development of efficient logistics one of the priority vectors for the development of the EAEU. “In connection with the turn of our EXPORT flows to the southeast, it is very important to work together to the countries of the named region. This is a bottomless market for our goods,” the Belarusian leader stressed.

Alexander Lukashenko

Ecology and politics

Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that for a number of years the EU has been actively preparing for trade under the current conditions. The mechanism of cross-border carbon regulation being developed by the countries of the European Union will become a serious tool for influencing international trade. "The European Union will get an additional opportunity to maneuver. Goods recognized as clean will be allowed on the market, and what they don't need will simply be blocked. They know how to do it," Alexander Lukashenko said.

In this regard, the head of state sees the need to unite efforts within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and develop their own approaches and measures to respond to climate challenges. "We need to systematically move towards the structure of the economy, which is dominated by industries and technologies with low greenhouse gas emissions," the Belarusian leader said.

From strategy to practice

Belarus supports the need initiated under the Russian presidency to determine approaches to the formation of a new strategy for the development of Eurasian integration until 2030, and somewhere up to 2045. “At the same time, I want to emphasize that when preparing relevant strategic documents, our union may be interested in the experience of implementing some initiatives at the level of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, about which the President of Kazakhstan spoke so much yesterday at the forum,” said Alexander Lukashenko.

He also warned against being too carried away with strategic planning: "At least this useful work should not cancel or replace practical activities to achieve the goals and objectives of the Treaty on the EAEU."

Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that by joint efforts the parties will be able to fully realize the potential of the Eurasian Economic Union both within the association and on the external circuit. Thus, it will be possible to create one of the full-fledged and responsible centers of the new, multipolar world.

REBELLION AND BORDER ON THE CASTLE. What Lukashenka told reporters in the Kremlin

Traditionally, a lot of attention from journalists was riveted to the President of Belarus. Before the start of the summit and after it, media representatives asked Alexander Lukashenko to answer a number of topical questions. Those that dealt with nuclear weapons have already been written above. But there were many others as well.

"We are ready. Let them come!"

The President commented on statements in Poland about an alleged uprising in Belarus. "We are tracking these guys, about whom this sick general spoke. That banners are being created there, entire regiments or battalions there. They call it that. But in fact ... We know where they are. And we know everyone by name. We are ready Let them come," the head of state said.

“Unfortunately, they don’t hear my statements. And you probably know that a few months ago I said that they were preparing for an uprising, a revolution… I don’t know what they are preparing for in Belarus. they are preparing for some, perhaps another rebellion, we have known this for a long time," the President noted.

The biggest question

One of the questions concerned the Belarusian-Russian cooperation. Media representatives asked to clarify what exactly was meant when, a few days before his visit to Russia, Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the need to discuss and resolve a number of problematic issues. “You know, we don’t have problems, but a lot of issues that we still have to resolve. The biggest issue, I talked about it (at the summit. - Approx. BelTA), is our common energy markets - gas, oiland so on. This is the biggest issue that needs to be resolved. There are transport, logistics, secondary issues. And, if we go down lower, a minor issue, it would seem, is some misunderstandings in terms of the supply of our goods, especially agricultural goods, food products to the Russian Federation. This is the set of issues," the head of state said.

"They don't let (products enter the Russian market. - BELTA's note)?" - said the journalist. Alexander Lukashenko confirmed: “Yes, we have problems with some goods. We understand this (for example, dairy products) that there is a period of large MILK. When there is more milk in Russia, then some kind of slowdown begins. This is wrong. At the government level, we will resolve this issue. I don't even discuss it with the President of Russia, because it's strange."

Alexander Lukashenko

Moreover, Alexander Lukashenko said that Vladimir Putin at the closed part of the summit said that in Russia there is a shortage of dairy products by about 15%. “But we don't even cover the whole hole with this. Nevertheless, someone likes it,” the Belarusian leader noted.

Answering the question whether it was possible to agree on something specific on problematic topics, Alexander Lukashenko said: “I am speaking in terms of the EAEU. And with the Russian Federation, any issue that we raise today is resolved within a few days.”

Saboteurs won't get through

The President was asked about possible provocations from the Polish territory and whether the border between Belarus and the Union State is locked in this direction. “You don’t even have to worry about this. Listen, if saboteurs need to penetrate your, our territory, today there are many opportunities to do it unnoticed. I mean, as a professional I will tell you, without using the green border. Therefore, with saboteurs this is purely everyday reasoning in this case, that they will penetrate if the border is not locked," Alexander Lukashenko said.

"The saboteurs penetrate through other paths. The saboteurs we detained in Belarus did not penetrate our border. Therefore, don't worry about the castle," the Belarusian leader added.
