“Next time we hold events of this kind, let’s gather at your place. I will do this with pleasure, and I think that my colleagues will agree,” Vladimir Putin responded to Vladimir Maslov’s invitation during a meeting with representatives of the Russian agro-industrial complex.
The HEAD of the holding told the president that the company AGROECO produces over 300 thousand tons of pork per year, and based on statistics of average annual consumption, provides this MEAT to more than 10 million people in the country. “We have common goals with the state - food security and creating comfortable living conditions in rural areas. Our company does a lot to increase the attractiveness of rural areas for work and life. We are in close dialogue with local authorities, together we are renovating schools and cultural centers, building children's and sports grounds. The AGROEKO company has already allocated more than 600 million rubles for the implementation of social projects in the areas where our employees live and work,” noted Vladimir Maslov.
"Great. I congratulate you. This is a real result! I am sure that you and those who work next to you have increased self-esteem when you look at yourself in the mirror, you can say “Oh, well done!”, said the head of state.
In turn, Vladimir Maslov noted that this is all thanks to the conditions that were created in the country, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and regional authorities. “And of course, we have great enthusiasm, we get great pleasure from our work,” assured the head of the AGROEKO company.
"It's great. Element of self-realization. This is a solution to a large-scale national task - ensuring the country's food security. And of course, thanks to such enterprises, thanks to people like you, those who work with you, those who help achieve such results, we have reached 4th place in the world in meat production. This is extremely important for our country,” summed up President Vladimir Putin.
During the meeting, Vladimir Maslov noted the importance and necessity of the program announced by the president for the renovation of technical schools, universities and dormitories: “The AGROECO company is an active participant in the federal project “Professionalism”, thanks to which we are already seeing transformations in the field of secondary vocational education (secondary vocational education). We are getting real results - more than 60 students are already working at our meat processing plant and are studying according to an individual program.”
Head of State Vladimir Putin noted that in the coming years, more than 120 billion rubles will be allocated for the repair of technical schools and dormitories. In addition, another 124 billion rubles will be allocated to universities and educational campuses.
