Two new anthrax outbreaks identified in the Voronezh region

This is reported in the draft decree of the regional governor on the legal information portal.

"Determine <...> epizootic foci of anthrax: the building of the MTF complex (dairy farm), located at the address: Klubnaya St., 15A, Lebedinka village, Bogucharsky municipal district, Voronezh region; territory located 650 m west of 15A on Klubnaya street, Lebedinka village, Bogucharsky municipal district, Voronezh region,” the document says.

The decree notes that it is planned to introduce measures based on the presentation of the HEAD of the veterinary department of the Voronezh region, Nikolai Esaulenko, dated September 7, where he proposes to establish a quarantineon anthrax disease. It also clarifies that the area around each of the foci of anthrax within a radius of two kilometers within the administrative boundaries of the village of Lebedinka, Bogycharsky district is recognized as a disadvantaged area, and a threatened zone is established within a radius of seven kilometers from it within the villages of Plesnovka, Novonikolskoye, Bogucharsky district and the Krinichny farm of Kantemirovsky district district.
