Violations in the processing of veterinary documents for meat products have been identified in the Mari El Republic.

On May 29, 2025, monitoring revealed more than 120 violations in the processing of electronic documents related to pork carcasses, halves, and quarters. Veterinarians incorrectly indicated the storage method for the products during transportation, stating frozen instead of the required method. Since the beginning of the year, 29 similar violations have been recorded in the Mari El Republic, 14 of which were committed by veterinarians. In response to these violations, the agency sent warnings to veterinarians and informational letters to the Veterinary Committee of the Mari El Republic with recommendations for preventing similar situations. The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration is actively implementing preventative measures to ensure compliance with veterinary regulations.
