On July 9, in the village of Zhernovets, Zolotukhinskiy district, ASF quarantine was introduced. Specialists of the regional veterinary department are working to eliminate the outbreak in the personal subsidiary farm and the 10-kilometer threatened zone.

Four pigs were confiscated in the Zolotukhinsk region and 71 heads in the Kursk region. Animal owners received an act on the removal of pigs. It is the basis for compensation for the losses incurred.

In total, 161 heads are kept in 70 personal subsidiary plots. There were no signs of disease and suspicion of ASF in these pigs.

Also increased control in the wild fauna. In July, the hunting grounds provided eight samples from wild boars. They tested negative for ASF.
