The factory will be able to produce up to 100 million eggs per year.
The Kotlas poultry farm in the Arkhangelsk region is ready to double egg production, up to 100 million eggs per year, Alexander Tsybulsky, the HEAD of the region, wrote on his TELEGRAM channel on Thursday following a visit to the factory.

"The Kotlas poultry farm produces 55 million eggs a year. it supplies products not only to our region, but also sends products to the Vologda Oblast and the Komi Republic. The enterprise has great potential - they are ready to double production volumes, up to 100 million eggs a year" , - wrote Tsybulsky.

To do this, you need to purchase additional equipment, which requires serious financial investments. The factory plans to purchase equipment for a building for laying hens for 80,000 heads and for a rearing building for 80,000 heads.

He noted that the authorities will increase the volume of deliveries of the local product to educational institutions, healthcare and social services for residents of the Arkhangelsk region. "In parallel with our support, we will go to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation with an initiative on measures to support agricultural producers in the northern regions," he added. The governor instructed the head of the regional ministry of agriculture and trade, Irina Bazhanova, to prepare an appeal to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation to consider the possibility of subsidizing part of the cost of purchasing compound feed for poultry farms from the federal budget. Last year, such a decision was made in relation to dairy farming enterprises: 36 farmers in the region received support in the amount of more than 56 million rubles.

In total, 70 types of various subsidies have been formed for the farmers of the Arkhangelsk region, including for the purchase of seeds, feed, MILK production, as well as in other areas. The region will consider the possibility of expanding the list of subsidizing equipment for poultry farming, as well as work out the issue of advancing enterprises in terms of compensating production costs.
