Is there a fine for grazing livestock in forests and near roads

This was told by the prosecutor of the Alekseevsky district of the Samara region Denis Makov.

As he noted, for grazing farm animals on lands where forests are located, as well as in places where it is prohibited, administrative responsibility is provided. According to Art. 8.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for citizens, the amount of the fine will be from 200 to 500 rubles, for legal entities - from 5 to 10 thousand rubles. A similar fine is provided for grazing farm animals without a shepherd on unfenced pastures.

According to Part 1 of Art. 11.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, responsibility is provided for driving livestock through roads outside specially designated places, as well as for grazing farm animals near roads. The amount of the fine is up to 300 rubles.

If livestock that walks uncontrollably causes property damage to someone, then the owner of the animals will have to compensate for this damage (Article 1064 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).
