The suspect, a Tomsk businessman, bought meat and skins of cattle in the Altai Territory. He turned to the veterinarian of the KGBU “Department of Veterinary Medicine of the State Service of the Altai Territory for the Tabunsky District” with a request for a fee to draw up fictitious veterinary accompanying documents for animal meat, even if it was not purchased on the territory of the district subordinate to the official.

From 2015 to 2020, the man gave the specialist more than 150 thousand rubles, according to the Investigative Committee of the RF Investigative Committee for the Altai Territory. This amount is considered a large amount.
