The expansion of a poultry farm in the Leningrad region has been postponed due to overproduction of eggs.

Sinyavinskaya recently completed an investment project to build a new poultry processing plant and egg storage facility, but plans for a second building have been postponed due to deteriorating financial performance. Other local producers, such as Roskar, are continuing with their expansion plans. Despite the current difficulties, growth in egg production in the region, which accounts for 8% of Russia's total, is expected.
