Caution: Problems with the quality of broiler hatching eggs in the Leningrad Region

The problem stems from a ban on the import of hatching eggs from the Czech Republic, leaving farmers dependent on supplies from Turkey, the quality of which leaves much to be desired. Farmers are considering changing breeds to maintain profitability, while declining production volumes are forcing them to raise prices , which could alienate loyal customers.
