From January to August, the cost of pork increased from 371 to 418 rubles per kilogram, and pork production decreased by 2.5% compared to last year, Rostovstat noted. At the end of summer, average retail prices for semi-smoked and cooked-smoked sausages amounted to 689 and 572 rubles per kilogram, respectively.
