Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut discussed the development of the agro-industrial complex in the Altai Republic.

Andrey Turchak also announced plans to build two dairy farms for 2,000 and 250 HEAD of cattle, respectively, which will play a key role in the strategy to increase MILK production. The Ministry of Agriculture is prepared to provide support through preferential loans .

The Altai Republic, with its significant resources for maral breeding, holds a leading position in the country in terms of maral population. Exports of maral products, which are in demand in East Asia and CHINA in particular, will be an important part of the industry's development. Oksana Lut also noted the republic's active participation in the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Areas," which has allocated over 1 billion rubles to improve life in rural areas. New social facilities are being built in the Kosh-Agach District as part of the program.

At the end of her trip, the minister visited one of the largest maral breeding farms, Karym, which houses more than 900 marals and produces a variety of products from their antlers, including balms and honey compositions.
